Anton’s technical training and professional career began in 1996 in the South African Navy. This was followed by exposure to mining and industrial automation as part of Eskom’s rejuvenation projects of moth-balled coal fired power stations, and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery.
Restructuring at his employer and the opportunity to accept voluntary retrenchment provided the catalyst for Anton to start his own business. Anton launched a franchise in the renewable energy market, and soon realised that he has a passion for photo voltaic systems specifically.
Solarvest gradually made a name for itself in the solar industry and is today one of only nine companies in South Africa to be accredited by leading solar equipment manufacturers in the Netherlands and Austria respectively.
Solarvest is acknowledged as a South African leader in the design, installation and maintenance of premium quality battery and solar systems.
